Elmgreen Interclub 2026​

Our AIG Pierce Purcell Shield Team are in action this Sunday 5th July against Sutton GC with a place in the Leinster North Semifinal awaiting the victors.

The very best of luck to all involved.

If you can spare some time on Sunday, please do come to Elmgreen or Sutton GCs to support the team. Matches commence at 3pm.

​​​​​​​It has been a great Interclub season to date, with a number of solid results in our campaigns. The last couple of weekends have seen some losses despite solid play, but there is well placed optimism for the next few seasons after some great matches and results along the way.

A word of thanks to all who have played, managed and supported out Interclub teams.

We are still competing on a number of fronts, and again are encouraging members to come out and support our teams.

Be it playing, volunteering or supporting, all have a role in helping us drive on the great efforts of recent years.

It is a great experience for participants, managers and spectators!

• Hard luck to our Irish Mixed Four-ball team who lost out to a strong Ardee GC team last weekend.

• Congratulations to our AIG Pierce Purcell Shield Team on their victory over Bellewstown GC on Sunday. Their Leinster North Quarter-final opponents will be confirmed in the coming days with that match due to be played by 5th July

• Hard luck to our Barton Cup team who lost out to Corrstown in a tight match on Sunday. Huge thanks to all involved with the team over the season, some great results along the way and great optimism for the next few years.

• Hard luck to our Leinster Men's Fourball team and to our Men's Leinster Trophy team who lost out to Corballis and Howth on Saturday. Thanks to all the lads who played, managed and supported the teams over the season.

• Hard luck to our Leinster Senior Men's team who lost out to Westmanstown over the weekend, our Best Cup team who lost out to Carrickmines, and our Jimmy Bruen Shield team who lost out to Forrest Little. A big thank you to all who have played, managed and supported the lads over the last couple of months, which saw some great wins across a number of weekends.

• Congratulations to our AIG Pierce Purcell Shield Team on their victory over Royal Tara GC on Saturday 23rd May. Their Round 3 opponents will be confirmed in the coming days.

• Congratulations to our Irish Mixed Fourball Team on their victory over St Ann's on Saturday 23rd May. They will face Ardee GC in Round 2.

• Hard luck to our O'Grady Cup team who lost out to St Margaret's GC on Thursday 21st May. It was not to be on the day, but great to get some new players involved with our Interclub teams.

• Hard luck to our Uden Cup team who narrowly lost out to Beaverstown GC on Sunday 17th May. The game was won 3-2 by Beaverstown, with some matches going to the 19th and 20th holes. A great battling performance despite the end result. Thanks to all involved.

• The Jimmy Bruen Team came out on top in Round 1 v Balcarrick GC and progress to Round 2 where they will play Swords GC. See fixtures above.

• Jimmy Bruen Team: A tough playoff loss on the 20th hole to Forrest Little after all four matches were tied after 18. Well done to all involved—great effort!

• Leinster Fourball Team: Congratulations on a narrow but determined win over Hollywood Lakes. Best of luck in the next round against Sutton Golf Club.
